Try to go to sleep at the same time each night.
Make sure you keep to the same routine – floss and brush your teeth, go to the bathroom, read a book and then turn off your light.
Listen to calming music or to a story but make sure the music or story isn’t going to keep you awake. You could also listen to the radio.
Read something that calms your brain down or something that makes you smile. It is important not to read something that makes you nervous or scared.
DO NOT read on a device. There is a lot of research that shows that devices before bed keep you awake.
Do not play video games before bed. ESPECIALLY NOT SCARY ONES!
Go to bed before your parents or family so you can hear them moving around. This will help you remember that there are people in the house.
Do not watch YouTube before you go to sleep. It is designed to show you things that might make you excited or scared.
