I used to have a lot of trouble going to sleep at night. I would keep the door open. I would keep a nightlight. But no matter what I did, I would still think about something I had seen or read that day. I don’t watch horror movies or read gory or scary books but I would think of worms, leeches, spiders and other normal things. And those images would stick in my head.
